Guidelines > Posters Guidelines

Poster Format

Posters should be portrait format (vertically tall) with a maximum size given by the A0 standard (841 x 1189 mm; or 33.1 x 46.8 in). A backing board surface will be provided for each poster. Boards will be numbered to ease the poster placement.

General conference posters sessions

  • Posters will be split in two different sessions ( A & B ) which will take place on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon (posters sessions and posters numbers).
  • Although there will be two fast forward sessions and two poster sessions, all posters should be displayed during the entire length of the conference. Thus, we recommend to all poster presenters to set up their posters before the first poster session and let the posters displayed till the end of the conference.
  • During the fast forward session, you will have 40 seconds to present one slide about your poster (an additional title slide will be also provided). The name of the file should start with the ID of your poster. The filename should also contain the the first words of the title of your poster. The preferred format is MS PowerPoint (PPTX template).
  • Please upload your slide here no later than October 6th. Note that the folder needs a google account to upload and all authors can see the uploaded slides. If you are concern to upload your slide to the public drive, please send us a download link from where your materials can be downloaded to poster_chairs@ismar17.org no later than October 6th with the subject [ISMAR Poster ID#YourID].

Workshops posters

Workshops posters will be displayed in a special place of the poster room during all the conference.
